SS was a research fellow of the Fogarty Programme for HIV immunologic and virologic studies at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, from September 1994 to October 1996. With a rich background spanning over 30 years, she has been actively engaged in molecular and immunologic research studies, with a particular emphasis on HIV-related investigations. Beyond her expertise in HIV research, SS has extended her involvement to biomarkers and immunologic studies in schizophrenia patients at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. Her diverse research portfolio includes HIV DNA vaccine development and genotypic drug resistance assays.
